You can fly to Inverness - just under an hour away, or to Glasgow airport or Edinburgh airport both of which are around 2 hours distant. There are an ever-increasing number of flights into all 3 airports from many different parts of the UK & Europe.

By Rail

During the day there are through trains from London on the east coast route via York, Newcastle and Edinburgh, stopping at Kingussie, just three miles away. There are also regular ScotRail services from both Glasgow and Edinburgh also stopping at Newtonmore station and Kingussie station.

Overnight, you can relax on the sleeper service from London, Crewe, Preston and Carlisle. This stops at Newtonmore Station.

Citylink Coach services from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Inverness also stop in Newtonmore - connections from the South are frequent.
