We have 4 Guest Bedrooms, every one different with its own distinguishing features and each one named after an animal or bird native to this area. All of them give you superb views over the valley, with 3 of our rooms located on the first floor and 1 on the ground floor.
The morning sun pours into the main windows of each bedroom, whilst at the end of the day, the scenery on the other side of the valley is bathed by the rays of the sun setting behind us.
All our rooms are very spacious and we have equipped them with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
You’ll find top quality beds with Dorma bed linen, with cosy non-allergenic duvets to snuggle under, (we’ll happily make up your bed with a sheet & blankets if you’d prefer) and with a combination of feather & non-allergenic pillows. (We’ll happily swap the feather ones for non-allergenic, if you prefer).
There are reading lights to both sides of our beds, so you don’t have to annoy your companion if your book keeps you riveted into the small hours of the night.
Comfortable seating gives you somewhere to relax and the handcrafted hardwood tallboys and bedside cabinets offer you more than enough drawer & storage space for your belongings.
There’s the convenience of up to the minute features like our remote control 19” LCD TVs (with FreeSat from Sky giving you some 200 channels to choose from) and the free WiFi Internet Access available in every room.
We’re proud of the pictures that decorate each bedroom’s walls too. They all mean something to us on a personal level and we hope that you’ll enjoy them too.
There’s oodles of wardrobe space with loads of hangers and two cosy fleece robes, lots of drawers, shelves & cupboard space plus the small but important items such as individually controlled heating, a digital alarm clock, a hairdryer, clothes brush, mending & shoe-clean kits, hot water bottle and lovely big mugs for your tea or coffee.
As you’d expect, each room has a refreshment tray. Ours come complete with a choice of teas, herbal teas, fruit teas, coffee & hot chocolate, not forgetting the Walkers shortbread biscuits & Scottish sparkling mineral water. There’s a wee dish of chocolates & toffees to tempt you too.
You can snuggle up in a cosy fleece robe and in your bathroom you’ll find loads of soft, fluffy towels, luxury Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, tissues, cotton wool balls and, of course, those all important cotton buds.
We feel that it is only fair that we point out that our bedrooms, like the rest of the house, do not offer any facilities for guests who wish to smoke.
So, that’s an overview, why don’t you take a look at each room individually?
