Wine_2We offer you a selection of good quality, enjoyable wines from around the world - with a mix of the familiar and the less well known - something for all tastes. Above all, though, we want to offer you excellent value for money.

Choosing our wines was, as they say, a very tough job - but somebody had to do it!! We hope that you'll have as much pleasure and fun drinking them as we had choosing them. If you'd like any advice at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

I often say that there are only two types of wine - wine that you like and wine that you don't! If you choose something that is not to your liking, don't fret; we'll happily change it. After all, we do like all the wines on our list................Cheers.

Rioja Vega Sin Crianza, Bodegas Muerza, Spain.

Smooth & fruity, full of flavour & lightly spiced, this is a really good, vibrant young Rioja. It is very moreish - beware!

White wines

5.
Sauvignon Blanc, Finca El Picador, Chile.

Delightful to drink, simply packed with ripe gooseberry fruit flavours. An excellent find by our vintner. Mmmmmm!

£12.50
6.
Colombard, Le Charme. Cotes de Gascogne, France.

An excellent French country wine that is just off dry. Aromatic & light, yet full of flavour with lashings of fruit. Almost too good to be true!

7.
Alto Viognier, Pampas del Sur, Argentina.

Produced high in the foothills of the Andes, this delightful wine is fresh and invigorating, distinctly peach & grapefruit with hints of tangerine. One to linger over.

And, finally........Rosé

8.
Merlot Rosé, Finca El Picador, Chile.

A new generation Rosé from the same vineyard as our popular Sauvignon Blanc. Fresh & very fruity with just a touch of sweetness. Go on - surprise yourself!
