Hello and welcome to the Crubenbeg House Website.

In these few short pages, we aim to give you all the information that you need, not just about our Guest House but also about the many delights of this outstanding part of Scotland.

But first, please allow us to introduce ourselves.

We’re John & Irene England and previously we were the owners of the award-winning Rowan Tree Country Hotel, a small, friendly place near Aviemore.

After 4 years there, successful ones we’re pleased to say, the time came for us to move to pastures new and we’ve travelled some 17 miles, to a lovely place just south of the picturesque Scottish Highland village of Newtonmore at the Gateway to the Cairngorms National Park.

Here at Crubenbeg House we offer an informal, friendly, home from home, with no airs or graces, in which you can relax and enjoy yourself whether you stay with us for a night or two, a short break or for a longer holiday.

Not only is it an excellent place in which to relax during the day if you wish, it is also a very convenient base from which you can explore this marvellous area and enjoy the many outdoor activities on offer before returning in the evening to put your feet up in front of the lounge fire, nightcap in hand, reading, chatting or simply savouring the spectacular views.
